This is what I have been looking for! I can’t seem to get this to work with wordpress….

I have one problem. Live Writer never creates the folder for certain sites, so I can’t edit or create and link them to the proper accounts.

Can you help me or do I just need to change the “default theme” each time?

First, I’d like to say thanks for the info. I was experiencing the same problems with the last version of WLW and it really helped me. However, I think the right path to the blog templates is “C:/Documents and Settings/[USERNAME]/Application Data/Windows Live Writer/blogtemplates/”. I think you forgot the “Application Data” in the middle, or it has changed in the recent versions.
