How To Use A Web-Based Hotmail Email Signature With Image

In the past I’ve shown how to get an image into an email signature using a mail client. This time I’m going to show how it’s done with the Hotmail email service.

In the video below I purposely seek out an image using Google Images, however you can use any image that you already have. For the image hosting, I’m using min.us; I prefer this image sharing service over other freebies due to the fact it’s pop-up/under-free, ad-free and fast.

And because I know some people are going to ask:

Will this work with Gmail?

The answer is “sort of”. In Gmail you can embed an external image from a service like min.us, however instead of using “HTML Code” from that service, you use “Direct Link” instead to paste in your image URL.

Will this work with Yahoo! Mail?

No.

  1. I know it wasn’t the point of the article, but min.us looks pretty cool. I’ll have to give that service a try.
