If you think its legitimate then call the sender directly to confirm if it is indeed legitimate. If a business is too cheap to pay for a phone where their customers can reach them, then you probably don't want to do business with then anyways. Most legitimate businesses will not ask for personal information via email because of all the phishing out there. So the chances are anyways, if anyone wants your information, its probably fake.
