ID3 Editor

Posted Oct 23, 2005 by David Risley

If you are an avid music fan, chances are that you download or have an extensive collection of “MP3″ format files. However, the files often have “ID3″ information attributes, such as Arist Name or Track Number, that is inaccurate and can make classifying and organizing music very difficult. For example, if you use an MP3 player and see a lot of ’s when you try to classify by artist or album, you probably should consider editing the MP3’s ID3 files. At www.id3-tagit.de/english/index.htm is an excellent ID3 file editor that allows you to easily change ID3 attribute tags. One of the most useful features of this editor is the ability to “batch” change attributes. Get those ID3’s under control and enhance your experience!
(Note: the ID3-Tagit editor requires the .NET framework to run)
