Just like I'm the type of person who obsesses over the Windows Login Screen and the Desktop wallpaper-- while everyone else never changes the insipid HP, Dell or Microsoft desktop.I have the RAT7. I don't do MMORPG, though And with my own PC games, I don't even use the programmable set-ups like for Oblivion. I just like the way it looks. Black, angular and Hi-tech.

It’s about personality & aesthetics

The general run of egg-shaped bulbous mice never appealed to me. http://www.cyborggaming.com/prod/rat7.htm I am using it right now. I enjoy the adjustability so it fits my hand for how I grab a mouse. It also has some nice control features for gaming. It's not for everyone, just as not everyone could use a 2560 x 1600 monitor or an aftermarket heatsink for overclocking. It's definitely not for people who do not game. I can understand why people who don't game would see no value in its features.

I own the wired RAT 7 mouse, its near equivalent but without the orange buttons. <br
