ALL PHONES are controlled by the company. Computers are not. Nobody controls which programs I can run on my Macs. Same with a PC. So, sorry, it's a bogus argument. The truth is that all "phones" should be better than the iPhone, and eventually probably will be. I wouldn't build a PC for someone and then tell them which programs they could and couldn't run on it. Neither would I monitor their usage remotely and shut the machine down if I didn't like the program they were running. If I tried to sell a brand new PC on those terms for £300 nobody would buy it...Yet Jobsweh (Steve Jobs; god of all things Apple.) manages to sell things for more than that under those terms.
