I know I can always depend on your for an Apple bashing. :)

Comparing a phone to a PC is a shaky argument. ALL PHONES are controlled by the company. Computers are not. Nobody controls which programs I can run on my Macs. Same with a PC. So, sorry, it's a bogus argument.

The iPhone is the symbol of control by big business and of Steve Job's control-freak mentality; as are all other Apple products. The truth is that all "phones" should be better than the iPhone, and eventually probably will be.

If the iPhone is so "cool" then why does Jobsweh have to dictate what you can and can't do with it? Things that are controlled by their vendors aren't cool, and also aren't worth buying. I wouldn't build a PC for someone and then tell them which programs they could and couldn't run on it. Neither would I monitor their usage remotely and shut the machine down if I didn't like the program they were running.

If I tried to sell a brand new PC on those terms for £300 nobody would buy it...Yet Jobsweh (Steve Jobs; god of all things Apple.) manages to sell things for more than that under those terms. It's a farce at best!
