Have you ever had an image that you wanted to attach to an e-mail but it took forever to upload? Infranview may be just what you need. All you have to do is download and install this software, then open the image that needs to be shrunk. To do this, you can do either one or both of the following: 1.) Resize the image to 800×600 or smaller if need be (won’t notice much of a quality difference). 2.) Go to File–>Save As and save as a different file type (jpeg usually a good choice if e-mailing). InfranView also has many other uses, so just mess around with it a bit to find out all the things you can do with this free image editing program.
