Iron Man Has a MySpace Page

Posted Dec 12, 2007 by Rich Menga

Every time a new movie is released the movie company who produced it always (and without fail) will put up a throw-away web site.

These days they’re not only doing that but also throwing up obligatory MySpace pages too.

There is a MySpace page for the upcoming Iron Man movie (recently launched). This page has absolutely nothing to do with what MySpace is about and is used strictly as a promotional tool.

After the movie fanfare dies out, these web sites and pages are left to die. A good example of this is the K-PAX movie web site. It still exists with the 2002 copyright notice and all!

Anyone out there know of some really old throw-away movie sites that still exist? Post them in the comments.
