Often times when I am done working for the day, there is something which I absolutely have to do the next day. When this happens, there are several methods I use to make sure I remember to do something. Here is a quick list of the methods I use:
- Put a note on my keyboard.
- Open Notepad and enter the message for myself and leave it open so it is right on my screen.
- Send myself an email.
- Set an Outlook reminder for myself (if it is a time sensitive issue).
Typically I go with the note on my keyboard (using scrap paper of course). Obviously, there is no way I can miss this.

I’m in the same boat. There’s got to be an easier way too. I’ve played around with hitmelater.com and it seems like it might be pretty useful.
what about texting urself and setting it to be sent/recieved at a certain time/date
Is that even possible?!
use the calendar option in your mobile, and/or set the alarm to ring to remind you
For that purpose I am using Turbonote a free software, from http://www.turbonote.com
