Laptops and PC's actually have a 'shelf life' of around 3 months and then they go EOL (End Of Life) which means that quite often at nearly any given time, there will be a laptop or PC on clearance - not just in September. TV's are a bit different though. They have a much longer 'shelf life' but still will go on clearance due to EOL at varying times throughout the year.

While September is still a great time to score a bargain, if you keep your finger on the pulse, know what you want and have patience, you can quite often get a great clearance deal at any time of the year without having to wait until just September.
