OK, I’ll admit it. I am a user of Facebook. No, I am not one of those people who spend hours on end on the site. But, I do recognize the networking potential of Facebook and, quite frankly, think it would be stupid for anybody who makes a living online (as do I) not to have a Facebook presence.
One of the things you can do on Facebook is create a group. And that I have done.
PCMech now has a Facebook group. The group is geared toward Technology Enthusiasts, and I hope to do something fun with the thing. Here is the group description:
A general group for fans of technology, put on by PCMech.com. PCMech is a popular technology blog with discussions covering the internet, computers, hardware, software, gadgets - you get the idea.
So, yep. PCMech is in the social media. So, here are a few links to throw at you if you want to partake.
- David Risley on Facebook. Yeah, that’s me. If you’re a fellow Facebook clown, feel free to add me as a friend. I’ll add ya back.
- PCMech on Facebook. Join the Facebook group and let’s see how the thing evolves.
- Risley on Twitter. If you’re a Twitter clown, feel free to follow me on Twitter. We post new links from PCMech on the Twitter feed constantly, so it is a good way to keep up with what’s going on here on the site. Every now and then I also send in my own tweets just for giggles.
