Keep a CD Binder of Your Application CD’s and DVD’s

Posted Sep 5, 2006 by David Risley

If you have ever reformatted your computer or uninstalled and
application and need it back, but can’t find the install CD, a simple
way to do this is by keeping a backup copy in a CD binder. Considering
recordable CD’s and DVD’s are dirt cheap and you can pick up a 128
count CD binder for about $12, why not burn a copy of your application
CD’s, write the serial numbers on the CD and store them away? It only
takes about 10 minutes per CD to make a copy and can really save you a
lot of hassle if you ever lose, scratch, break, or accidentally feed
your original CD to the dog.
