Many of you may already know this, but for those who do not, make sure
you have an email account specifically for junk email.

Just about every site requires you to enter a valid email address to
use their services, so instead of giving them your primary email
address, which will most likely eventually be spammed, give them your
junk email address. This way when they send a verification email, they
will send it to your junk account and verify your registration without
cluttering your ‘good’ email address.

Considering it only takes a few minutes to set up either a Hotmail or
Yahoo mail account, having a junk address is a must. The fewer people
that have your ‘good’ email address the better.
