Anybody with more than one monitor on their computer has experienced this.
You want to watch a Flash movie on one monitor while doing something on the other. Perhaps a Youtube video or a Hulu movie. But, the moment you click on anything outside the movie, it goes back to the small view again. Annoying!
Well, one astute guy came up with a work-around. He created his own alteration of the Flash plug-in (different by one byte) that cures the problem. This solution only works on Windows. Basically, you’ll grab his copy of the npswf32.dll and overwrite the one in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\.
Of course, I’d recommend you back up the old one first in case you see problems. But, a browser restart after this is done should allow you to multitask with a full-screen Flash movie playing.
