List Of Common ISP SMTP Servers

If you use a mail client installed on your computer to check your email you always have to configure the incoming and outgoing (SMTP) server. The problem I have run into often is actually finding SMTP server information on some of the ISP’s sites for when I need to do troubleshooting.

Google is your friend in this case as I came across a page which offers a list of common ISP SMTP servers. Another reason I needed this is because I have some customers we provide email for (incoming mail server) who have to send outgoing mail through their ISP (this is very common). Now instead of having to dig through the ISP’s help information, I can just forward them this page and tell them to enter the appropriate server for their ISP. Problem solved.

Thanks for posting the list of smtp servers but has it ever occurred to you that there is a world OUTSIDE of the USA??????

I’m sure that you have many subscribers from outside the (godall) “Mighty” America, so why not try thi nking of those people as well. And if, logistically, it isn’t possible to provide information that will benefit everybody, then don’t provide it in the first place!!!!

    Thank you

Steve, I’m not sure your rant is all about, but I hope you feel better now.

By your logic, I no longer should post tips where the information only applies to Windows/Linux/Mac/IE/Firefox users since it doesn’t ‘benefit everyone’. Additionally, I don’t need to post the tips in English because not everyone speaks English.

Come on… if the information in the tip doesn’t apply to you, just move on, no need to post a hateful response.

I agree with Jason, that was just a not called for rant. It would have been much nicer just to ask if there was perchance a listing for other countries (like just for Canada or Great Britain) than slaming what can at least be usefull for a good amount of people.
