Booting Into Longhorn
Currently, all of Longhorn’s backgrounds are the same textured blue background found in the installation. There are a few brief, large and center messages concerning boot services, and then you login. Below are screens from Paul Thurott:

Finally, you will get to see some real screenshots. This is the first screen you will see when booting into Longhorn.
Then, you might see this:
Unfourtanately, Microsoft seems to still be working on the new and improved Windows “explorer” interface (not to be confused with the Windows Explorer tool found in the Accessories folder). As you can see below, the task manager still remains the same, or at least so far.
