Do you suppose that if Steve Jobs told them at Mac-Fest that they would go to Mac Heaven if they drank the purple Kool-Aid, that they would actually drink it? Some probably would! Some Mac-heads are not much different than Trekkies or people who wait in line in costume for days in to see the latest Star Wars movie. It’s very much like a cult.
