If you have either homeowners or renters insurance, one thing you need to keep track of is all the ‘stuff’ of value in your house. The usage of this is pretty simple and there is a guided tour to show you exactly what needs to be done. When you really get down to it, this is a glorified spreadsheet which is tailored to keeping an inventory.
Again, remembering what was in your home for insurance purposes is the last thing you want to worry about if disaster strikes, so be prepared.
