Make Webpages Load Faster

To make Webpages appear quicker in Internet Explorer, one may disable any sounds, images, and videos from hogging valuable bandwidth by going to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Multimedia.

Note that disabling video / sounds / images on Webpages may drastically change the appearance and multimedia abilities of some sites. If this becomes a problem, then you may return to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and enable the multimedia settings again.
