With the exception of the 3DMark2001 problem on the 256MB stick of Crucial Memory, all of the memory modules tested in this review worked at the speeds at which they were advertised. Mushkin openly claims that their memory is good for overclocking and as far as I can tell, their product delivers. Is it worth the extra cash to buy from them? Only if you intend on overclocking. Is their memory \”better\” than Crucial\’s? Well, the average person who buys memory and runs it at the speed it is designed to run at will most likely say \”no\”. It all boils down to a simple question of whether you intend to overclock. If you do, and don\’t want to gamble on whether or not the module will run at higher clock speeds, spend the extra money on the Mushkin modules. If you are upgrading your system or building a system that you don\’t intend to overclock, Crucial is the obvious choice. Their prices are second to none and their customer service is outstanding.
