Microsoft is to Open Source as Hell is to freezing over

A week or so back, sources “leaked” information that Microsoft
would go open source if that would get them out of prosecution by the
Department of Justice.  This is obviously false.  If
Microsoft were to go open source, we would have millions of different
types of Windows Variants running around, just as we do with
Linux.  Anyone would be able to look at the source code, and
change it, then resell it, just as they do with Linux.  Although
this theory works very well with stable and reliable operating
systems, why would we want millions of Different Windows Operating
Systems running around?  Too much of a bad thing is always
deadly.

In all reality, there is a god, and
the rumors of M$ wanting to go open source were false.  M$ really
isn’t wanting to give out their operating source code for free.
Why not?  Their sales for Windows 2000 were greater than
expected.  I personally feel that way because it looks and acts
like Windows 98 to the user, but has the underlying features and
stability of Windows NT.  Why would millionaires want to start
giving out software for free, when they are making a killing at $200 a
copy now?  It’s obvious: They don’t!  So, as I put my swami
hat on, I can give you this prediction:  Hell will freeze over
long before Microsoft gives operating systems away for free, to
everyone.

So many idiots, too few shotguns.
It’s been a busy week for me.  Busy weeks usually means more
idiots than normal.  Some people just act like they have NO
brains what so ever.  It’s scary to realize that they own cars,
and can actually drive around in them.  It’s also scary the government
supports these people by actually trying to educate them from birth
and beyond.  To conclude this little rant about idiots, I’d like
to leave you with this quote:

“A Shotgun: the
world’s best learning tool.”
