The guys and gals at Axiotron have done it – it’s a Mac in tablet form called the Modbook. It’s got OS X Leopard and a Wacom integrated pen-sensitive LCD.
The price? $2290.
This is one of those type of expense-be-damned computers. Yes, it’s dangerously close to the price of a Mac Pro – but the Pro doesn’t have an integrated Wacom built-in, nor does it have GPS capability.
Oh yes, the Modbook is super-cool and super-functional.
The only gripe anyone may have about it is the 13.3-inch screen which is small. Then again, it is a tablet and that design is typically smaller for maximum portability; something the Modbook has in abundance.
