Holy carp! I haven’t seen an ISA slot in years. – Or an AGP slot come to that. Modern graphics cards use a PCIe x16 slot. – It’s longer but it transfers many times more data.
On modern motherboards these days (2009) you might also see a (single) rather short slot: This is a PCIe x1 slot; into which you can fit a PCIe multi-USB-port card, a PCIe RAID controller card, or the suchlike.
