I’m sure everyone has a mouse with a scroll wheel by now (if not, you should really get one). They are, of course, great for reading through documents and web pages, but sometimes it might be beneficial to control exactly how much of the document is moved when you scroll up or down. To view or change this setting, do the following:

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Select Mouse.
  3. Go to the Wheel tab.

Here you can change how many lines are moved as you scroll up and down. Additionally you can set whether or not an entire screen is moved on each scroll.

One thing to note is if you have custom mouse drivers installed, your tab and options may look different, however these settings should be available in the mouse configuration screen.
