Multiple Homepage Tabs in IE7

Posted Apr 19, 2007 by Jason Faulkner

Now that IE7 offers tabbed browsing, you configure it to open multiple pages when you launch your browser. Here is how:

  1. Open IE7.
  2. Select Tools > Internet Options
  3. In the General tab under Home page, enter the URL of the sites you would like to open when ever you launch your browser (1 per line).

Now when you open a new browser, each of the URL’s will open in their own tab. There is a warning on using this, as it will slow your browser down while all the home pages are being loaded.
