Must-Have Bookmark For Web Devs, resizeMyBrowser

Sometimes the simplest tools are the best kind.

Web developers/designers absolutely require a utility to resize a browser window so they can see what their projects look like under certain resolutions. The best utility for this, which unfortunately does not work in any version after Windows XP, is Sizer.

But what if you’re running Windows 7? Or a Mac? Or Linux?

You’re covered: resizeMyBrowser to the rescue.

Click a resolution, and your browser sizes to those dimensions. Brilliant. You can also add in your own presets. The only other option is whether to use "Inner" (in-browser window) or "Outer" (entire browser + window borders). Outer would work best for most people.

If you design at all, or just want an ultra-fast way of resizing your browser to specific dimensions (particularly useful for those with super-high resolution monitors), resizeMyBrowser is exactly what you were looking for.

Ah, that's a really helpful tool, especially if you are using a browser other than Mozilla Firefox. When using Firefox, I'll probably stick to the Firesizer add-on you told me about before.

Nice. I usually use the one in the developer toolbars, but this has more presets, and requires no installation or plug in.
