If you do online banking and you have accounts with multiple banks, a feature a lot of banks offer is the ability to transfer money to and from external accounts for free. Of course every bank’s features are different, but the beauty of this is only one of your banks has to offer the functionality (since you can initiate the transfer from there).
For example, I have accounts at several different banks. My personal account bank does not offer this functionality, but my savings account bank does. So whenever I need to transfer money, I initiate the transfer from my savings account.
Additionally, you can probably set up recurring transfers for scheduled transfers which can be useful for obvious reasons. If this sounds like it could be useful to you, check out the features available on your online banking and sign up for it.
