Some time ago we ran as a tip the ability to have more than one homepage with Firefox, but there is another option you can do using bookmarks. If you group similar bookmarks into a folder, later when you want to use those bookmarks, you will see in the folder that there is an “open in tabs” option. Pressing this will open all sites in that bookmark folder in tabs. So, as an example, say you check out 4 or 5 different news sites every day. You can bookmark them all and put them in a folder called “Daily News”. Each morning, just browse to that folder in the Bookmarks menu and select “open in tabs” and up will pop all 5 sites for you easy browsing.
