Open Office

Posted Nov 23, 2005 by David Risley

For those of you who need a good word processor/spreadsheet/excel program but don’t have the money to pay for Microsoft Office, I believe you may find Open Office of great use. Open Office is a completely free office suite that doesn’t take much space to install and works on multiple platforms (Windows/Linux etc.). Though it may not be as clean cut and perfect as newer versions of Microsoft Office, it does do the job quite well. Also, they do put a lot of time and effort into developing this program, so please try and donate on their website if you could.
