OpenOffice 2.3 Finally Puts the Document Where It Belongs

Something which has always been present in Microsoft Word is that when you are writing a document, the document itself is centered in the word processor.

This has not been the case with OpenOffice. The document has always been on the left while in the editor. I’m not talking about the text in the document; I’m referring to the document itself while being edited. This has been a long-time gripe of many OpenOffice users because it “just doesn’t look right.” I’ve always felt that way as well.

But whad’ya know, OO 2.3 has the document centered – FINALLY.

I can’t tell you how cool this is because having the document on the left was just SO.. FRICKIN’.. ANNOYING.. But no more. OO now places it where it’s supposed to be.

Rock on, life is good. :)
