Some of you out there may be aware of the feature in web browsers where you can increase/decrease the text size. Even though I champion Firefox as my primary web browser, I admit that Opera 9 and Internet Explorer 7 do resize things better for overall readability. See video below for the reasons why.

Which FF version are you using? I’m using FF 3b4 and it functions exactly like IE - adjusting the width of text/images when you zoom. I’ve never used FF until now and dove straight into version 3b4 so I’m not sure if this is one of the differences between versions. 3b4 is pretty sweet though! Slightly higher memory usage than IE, but still a much more functional browser.

NOTE - Little more efficient tip for zooming…
Instead of taking your hand off the mouse to click Ctrl and + together, use the scroll wheel.
Ctrl and scroll up zooms in, Ctrl and scroll down zooms out :)

Hey Rich. Firefox Ctrl + and - are actually labeled Text Sizing if you look under the View Menu so there are not really advertising it as page zoom. On the other hand Drew is right. This is what I found:
“Full pagezoom is scheduled to be implemented in Firefox 3 with Gecko 1.9, which will be out in 2007 or later. Look forward to it for those who want the pagezoom like Opera or IE7 has.”
I do agree is a must have feature but it seems like Firefox wins again, they know how to keep us happy. Download Firefox 3, there are a few bugs but nothing big.
