Audience Interrogation – PCMech Membership Program

In our third video this week, I get interrogated. In my survey over this last weekend, I had a lot of people ask questions about our PCMech Membership program. And, I take all the questions. Good and bad. And whether they sting or not. :)

I get asked everything from the usual questions, to questions about whether I’m a scam. I take them all.

Here is the video:

And as a refresher, here are the first two videos:

  1. Feedback from PCMech Members [Video #1]
  2. Explanation of PCMech Membership Program [Video #2]

Tomorrow, you’re going to see a new page talking about the benefits of our membership program as we head into 2009. And you already know that PCMech University will now be known as PCMech Premium.

I’m asking you to join our program. There will not be a discounted special tomorrow, so what you pay today is what you will pay as long as you remain a member. And, as you will find out tomorrow, the current rate is way too cheap and you’re getting a KILLER deal. I’m just saying. :)

See you tomorrow!

I noticed that you have endorsed a e-book called. DIY COMPUTER REPAIR SELF COMPUTER REPAIR. I am wondering why you endorsed the e-book. Money is tight with me and yet i am thinking about getting this e-book. Even though i have been involed with computers for years. When it comes down to computers with virues, slow downs and etc i am still a novice. Is this e-book in easy langue for some one like me to understand.

Thank you for taking your time in answering my questions and getting back with me in a timely matter.

I endorsed it because it is good quality and highly relevant to my readers here at PCMech.

    Hello David.
I have been watching your videos. Having dealt with professionals for a good deal of my life, I would recommend some ‘presentation instruction’. What you have to offer is good….now do not explain it to death why you do not do/offer some things. People want you to think and do the work for them (for the most part). What you have to offer is valuable. Look at the camera as if you were telling that very individual and say it short and sweet. There is a way to say no or yes to a person and keep them coming back.
Things like, ‘we do not offer anything at the moment to non-profit organizations. It may be a consideration in the future.’
I like that you have cleared up the misconception that it is not a school…school is always attractive to people. What you have to offer is attractive…do not lose us with mis-spoken (is that a word) statements. I am hanging in there as I may need to sign in for the payment option. At present I am taking ‘schooling’ and look in each day to see what you are doing as I need somewhere to direct my clients as I am getting out of the ‘build/fix’ run.
Happy New Year to you and your family. Remember, what you have is valuable…do not water is away with words and chose wisely how you say it.

Michelle, what you see from me on camera is exactly like I would act if I were right in front of you. I am not interested in putting on an act in front of anybody, nor saying things that aren’t true.

For example, I do not intend to offer a free program for non-profits. Why would I beat around the bush and say its a possibility when its not?

I appreciate your advice, but none of what I said in that video was misspoken. I will continue to be myself, be real, and people can simply decide for themselves if they like it or not.

Happy New Year to you, too.

  3. Hi David,

I wish you and your family all the best in 2009!

I have a question, are you planning on doing any kind of affiliate program in the future for your membership program?

I think you have some great information to share with people and it might entice people to join and share it with other people if they could make a few extra dollars…

I really like your videos because they are “REAL” and show who you are which is what people like to see. Since you can’t meet everyone face to face seeing the videos makes people get to know you better.

    Have a great day!

    Robert

Yes, Robert, I do plan to do an affiliate program. I just need to figure out some logistics on how to do it exactly.
