Today I begin the launch of super-hi resolution free wallpaper images that will be available for free download. I will be posting new images periodically.

To note: Not all wallpaper images will be available on the public site. If you want to see the regularly published images, all you have to do is subscribe to the RSS feed using the feed reader of your choice (such as Google Reader or Bloglines).

The images will always be free, always provide two versions (standard screen and widescreen) and always be super-hi resolution. Standard screen will be 1600×1200 and widescreen will be 2560×1600. If you don’t happen to have those resolutions, that’s okay. When you set the wallpaper, set it to "stretch" and it will auto-fit to your monitor.

Here are the two for today. Click the one you’d like, it will load, then right click and set as wallpaper (or command-click for Mac users).
