“Pin to Start Menu” Action

If you find yourself using a certain application a lot and don’t like
cluttering your desktop/quick launch bar, simply pin it to your Start
Menu. Here’s how it works:

1. Click your Start Menu
2. Right click on the target application on the “recently used programs” list
3. Select “Pin to Start Menu”

It will now appear at the top of your Start Menu and will not be
placed in the “recently used programs” list anymore like other
shortcuts will.
