Play A Complete Ultima 6 Remake

One of the longest running and successful RPG games is the Ultima series which spanned both consoles and computer platforms. If you are a fan of these very difficult games, then you might be interested in the The Ultima 6 Project:

The Ultima 6 Project [is] a remake of Origin Systems’ classic game Ultima VI: The False Prophet  with newer graphics and a more immersive engine.

Note: to play this you will need a copy of Dungeon Siege on your system as the Ultima 6 Project is built using its engine.

It just goes to show how much of a following some of these classic games have. The original Civilization has variants and King’s Quest has been remade as well. Anyhow, this definitely looks like an interesting take on the game and if you already have Dungeon Siege, you might as well give it a try.

I've been on Linux for a few years, and I try to stick with Native games there. Too bad since this game is a classic. Wish the industry had never gone to a proprietary gaming API.

    Be real, be sober.
