I finally broke down and bought some parts to build a new box. My existing box is getting a bit long in the tooth, so it was time to go new. I examined offerings from both the Dell Outlet Store and NewEgg and opted to build instead of buy. Listen in and find out why. Good info is here if you’re thinking of building your next PC.

Hi
Thanks for the good info. I got a laugh because I just bought what you are essentially replacing a dell AMD 3600 1.9 with 512 and 80gig HD plus fire wire and
a 13 in one reader, and a 256 video card.
for $453.
Anywho , I expect you will be wanting to get a multiple reader and am curious about what you will be getting or why you won’t get one.
[...] The box is built! I review items purchased and examine how they run. Was it worth it? Note: Part I is here. You may want to listen to that first before this one.
