During a network inventory scan why is this program trying to access org.onr.com at 207.200.27.85 ?
I don’t like software that phones home without asking for permission.

Steve — onr is OnRamp where we host the servers that serve ads (all for IT products) that run in Spiceworks along with the community content that shows up in the app such as product reviews, community discussions, etc. You can block it but then you won’t see this content – or the ads – which deprives us of revenue. As an alternative, you can sign up for Spiceworks MyWay for $20/month (http://www.spiceworks.com/myway/) which replaces the ads with your logo.
