I have an ATT Go Phone. I buy the $25 Cards at my local BX/PX. They're slightly cheaper than in the store. A few pennies. But it adds up. The Cards are good for 90 Days. ATT E-mails me about a month early to tell me my minutes are going to Expire. I wait to the last day to get the Full 90 day Rollover.
The other thing is, I dont use my phone much. A couple of times a year. As a result, I have over $200 balance in my account. That I am going to loose if I dont buy additional cards. Just realized one of the "Traps" of Pre-Paid phones.

It is a good deal but I'd suggest doing it with a throwaway/secondary email address, else you get these annoying promotional offers from TracFone - and it's very difficult to opt out of them.

Otherwise yes, you do get double-minutes if you can deal with the promo emails and it saves cash by doing so.

Wrong about #2, buying airtime online. I have a Tracfone and every time I do I get bonus minutes. It's a terrific deal and a great value plus I have double minutes for life which came with my phone! Awesome!
