Maintaining one’s privacy while browsing the internet is becoming more and more difficult. Although one may think that their firewall, alternative browsers, and spyware blockers are more than enough to keep one’s privacy protected, think again! While these practices are highly recommend and do help in protecting one’s online privacy, common sense is the most essential and vital weapon in our privacy protection arsenal. Nonetheless, thousands of people fall victim to the dangers of the internet. So, for that very reason, I advice you to use a little common sense while browsing the World Wide Web. Remind yourself frequently to not give our your passwords, credit card numbers, addresses, telephone numbers, or other private information, because no matter how well protected your computer may be, common sense is all that can stop someone from frivolously handing out private information on the ‘net.
