This tip may be very simple, but I bet some of you have never tried it before. If you ever need to quickly access the address bar in your web browser, just press “Alt” and D at the same time. This will auto-select all of the text and highlight it in the bar so that you can just start typing in a new address. This does work with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, and may work with numerous other browsers as well. Always remember that shortcut keys save you time while browsing and can make you an expert web surfer if you learn when and how to use them.
