I picked up a new USB 2.0 hub at Best Buy. And, as usual, it was packaged in that really tough plastic packaging that, I swear, was designed by Nazis.
I understand that they do this to alleviate shoplifting, but come on!

You’d be surprised how many people try and get through that stuff still! It’s a deterrent for sure, but we’ve had many try and get to the product before taking it out the door..
Sucks, but that’s the world we live in…
You would be surprised at the engineering and quality process that actually goes into the design process of the nazi packaging. Before becoming self employeed, I was a Electronics Technician who did programming on the machines that produce this packaging. You can check out the companies website here: http://www.kpafilms.com
I wonder how many people have actually got themselves injured trying to open the nazi packaging.Seriously, I have used some pretty sharp knives to dig these gadgets out.and often times I have to remind myself to not pull the sharp towards me. Best thing to use is get one of those open anything cut through anything scissors at harbor freight. They work pretty good and prevent serious injury.
A chainsaw works pretty well on these. LOL
