For the most part, once we delete something we never reference it again. This is true for me too, however today I actually did have the Recycle Bin bail me out of a mess, prompting this tip. Again, the Recycle Bin usually houses garbage we will never use again and as such, we either set the Recycle Bin to a low threshold (5% or less), which on large drives is still pretty substantial, or periodically just empty it without thinking.
Instead, just consider letting the Recycle Bin run it’s normal course. Unless you are strapped for space, let the Recycle Bin contents just sit. Considering there isn’t any real benefit to removing the files there, you really don’t have anything to lose and if you are in a bind, you could have everything to gain.
