If you’re an AVG user, you’ve probably noticed that at the bottom of your emails, you can see a “Scanned By AVG” message appended to the bottom of your messages.
To stop this message from being attached:
- Go into the AVG Control Center.
- Double click on “E-Mail” Scanner.
- Click “Configure”.
- Uncheck “Certify Mail” under both incoming and outgoing mail.
Your email from this point on will no longer show the “Scanned By AVG” message at the bottom.

Since I already removed AVG through Control Panel (Add/REmove Software) I dodn’t see any of its components. But I still get nagging AVG signature in my Outlook messages. Is there anyway I can remove this problem?
Thank you.

It’s possible that the outlook plugin for AVG is still functioning.
Try following the same basic steps outlined here:

This is so damn relieving. Thanks a ton
