Sometimes you tend to keep the same folders open all the time, but feel it’s a nuisance to have to reopen them every time you boot up the computer. So, here’s a nice simple tweak that upon startup, the same folders you leave open at shut down will reopen.
Go to “My Computer” > “Tools” > “Folder Options” > “View” tab. Scroll down a little bit, and check the box labeled “Restore previous folders at logon”. Hit apply and OK, and the next time you leave folders open when you logoff or shut down, they will reopen again at startup.
