Retro Gaming Deal Of The Moment – Jedi Knight Collection

The Steam platform has been introducing some really good games that have been re-ported so that they can play in modern versions of Windows. Some are put into collections that offer some seriously good bang for the buck, one of which is the Star Wars Jedi Knight Collection.

It includes 5 games for $19.99 – all of which are awesome. It includes:

Dark Forces

This is basically the Star Wars version of DOOM. Yes, it’s a DOS game that’s been re-ported to work, and wow does it work well.

Jedi Knight – Dark Forces II

Don’t be confused by the title, this is not another DOOM style game. It’s got a big world and great storyline.

Jedi Knight – Mysteries of the Sith

A follow-up to DF II that adds more missions.

Jedi Knight II – Jedi Outcast

A more modern title. Amazing lightsaber play.

Jedi Knight – Jedi Academy

The follow-up to JK II, and gets even better. This game to this day is still played online by thousands of players and has arguably the best multiplayer lightsaber fights you can get.

For 20 bucks, you can’t go wrong with these titles. Five great games, all of which have great “replayability” and are more or less guaranteed to work on your PC – even if it’s slower.
