Retro: Waste Time Effectively Playing Old Nintendo Games Online

image The NES is part of my childhood. Totally, dude. Nothing rocked away hours of time when I should have been doing homework.

Old Nintendo 8-bit games aren’t just for guys (like me) in their 30′s. The kids today still love the older games because they’re easy and moreover fun.

But to break out that old NES box is a pain in the butt.

No longer.

Play all your old favorites (with shockingly good accuracy to the originals) at nintendo8.com. All you need is a browser with Java enabled. Firefox and Netscape 9 admittedly work best on this site.

My recommendations:

Enjoy. Have a good weekend.

  2. http://www.virtualnes.com is where i used to play my old nes games But i have to admit it made me remember the good old days and i shelled out the money on ebay for a nes system (wish i hadnt gotten rid of the old one) 25 games two controllers and the light gun. $71 in all plus another $5 for a new 72pin to make sure it runs at top notch. waste of money? probably. but i dont care. I feel like a kid again and thats what matters!

  3. I wonder when they’ll enable that “add this game to your website/blog/Myspace feature?

I use to go to http://originalnintendo.net to play Nes games when I was in class. Not sure if they still do but Duck Hunt was really fun.
