Been using outside antenna on mast for 15 yrs. Got bored with commercial tv and tired of hearing about the latest wonder from big pharma. We watch public tv & some local stations for local news. Happy to hear about the hd-tv broadcasting plan.

Could not agree more….Granted we have two 42″ Plasma’s in here on BB Cable(600++ Channels and there is still NOTHING-ON better than half the time), both of which are usually pretty much left on 24/7 Silence tends to make me and a few others a tad bit nutzy! When you under a microscope, w/tweezers picking thru remains of gravel, platter crumbs, chassis-sections and molten logic-boards of drives for data/evidence recovvery, you need to be really calm. So I guess it was Mom’s doing with having TV’s on constantly thru my childhood, leaving me nightmares of being eaten by Rosie or Interrogated by Geraldo in early preschool days…hehe….

But we leave em on low volume even today (maybe to remind us of pre infant life with mommy?…hehe)…But it’s Mostly about 90%+ background noise to keep some of us from going nutz, which silence tends to do if you’re not living out on some countryside mountain scape of brook, with the sounds of nature only, not FORD,GM, Lear, Etc,..

The talk shows are like xerox copies of each other wear different halloween masks, the movie channels are fascinated with repietition, and the rest are either infomercial of “infomercials-in-disguise”….hehe….

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking…..I make NO sense, and should get help…..
