Run Linux Apps In Windows

If you have used Linux for any length of time, you probably have found some applications which would be really nice if you could run them in Windows. Now, this can be possible with Ulteo Virtual Desktop.

This application allows you to run many Linux applications natively inside of Windows. While this is a great concept, the product appears to be very much in its infancy right now as the supported application list is basically products which already have a Windows port. There seems to be a constantly updated list of applications which are being supported, so the one you want might be available.

Ulteo Virtual Desktop is completely free and features sound, file system and printer integration. This is worth a look if you want to run Linux applications in Windows without the use of a virtual machine.
