Common misconception that nerds and keys go hand in hand, much like how electricity only attracts nerds on a clear day.

He he all jokes, but on a serious note things are usually not built for wear and tear. Same thing applies to keyboards, has nothing to do with how many times you punch buttons or how fast. Our hands secrete oil and sweat, the letters printed on keyboards rub off because their just surface stickers. Now if they made keyboards with lettered keys under see through plasticy surface then it would be a different story.

I blame cheesy marketing tactics, my $90 keyboard looks like a shriveled up prune and no I don’t game much

My only tip is: Stay away from media keyboards all those extra buttons are really not worth it!

There is currently a display up at Micro Center, if you happen to have one near you. I like it, but its not really my type of keyboard.

If you hit a key so many times that the letters wear off, you probably know what letter it is anyway.

I got this keyboard almost a year ago when Newegg had a similar sale. My only gripe is that the num-lock indicator died within days of receiving it. Newegg said they would gladly replace it, but I decided that it wasn’t worth the hassle.

Other than that little blip, I have loved every bit of it.

I’ve been tossing around the idea of getting this unit for a while. I just can’t stand soft, spongy feedback from a keyboard. Maybe if I try it out I’ll know better. Just where to find a display model…
