Salesforce Toolbar For Firefox

If you are a user of Salesforce CRM, odds are you probably have a browser window/tab open all day so you can easily lookup and enter information. While this works great, I often make the mistake of navigating away from the page or accidentally closing the tab it is open in, meaning I have to log back in to access the information.

An easy way to address this problem is with the Salesforce Toolbar. Not only does the toolbar allow you to run Salesforce queries from the built-in search box, but you can also create new records and run saved reports all from a simple drop down menu. Even better, once you log in to Salesforce, the toolbar “remembers” your session so if you accidentally close the tab or navigate away from Salesforce, you don’t have to log back in. Closing the browser, however, will log you out.

This is definitely a great tool for users of Firefox and Salesforce.
